Astro is primarily applied to the Timing Driven Flow that is 0.18/0.13 um VDSM Design Methodology. In order to extract the correct timing extraction in VDSM design, Astro utilizes CAP TLU model and AWE Model. Astro's function updates the timing fix flow by using the STA engine from Apollo-Saturn. Astro is conducting noise analysis by using its auto-crosstalk engine to solve the newly emerging cross talk problem in VDSM design. Therefore, the chip implementation turn-around time is reduced.
